Congratulations to Jovie Brunmeier on her Grand Champion Breeding Doe!

And that’s a wrap for the 2026 Canyon County Fair! Our members represented well with multiple successes from personal victories to overall champions. These students have spent hundreds of hours in the past months preparing for the fair. From early mornings in the barn to late night training sessions, it was amazing to see how their hard work paid off this week.

Specifically, we’d like to recognize those who rose to the top in showmanship.
McKenna Murray was Grand Champion Round Robin Showman—showing all species from market to dairy.
Jovie Brunmeier was Grand Champion Market Goat Showman.
McKenna was also Reserve Champion Dairy Goat Showman.
Emma Shaw was Reserve Champion Beef Showman.
Jovie, Charity, Tyce, and Wyatt were all top showmen in their individual market goat classes.
Sophia Sanford was top showman for her class in market swine.
In terms of breeding, Tyce Fisher was top in his class of natural ewe lambs and Jovie Brunmeier was Grand Champion Overall Breeding Doe for Market Goats.
McKenna Murray was also Reserve Champion for best of breed in Dairy Goats.
