Homer City Borough Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 7:00PM at the borough office to vote on appointing a new council member. All meetings are open to the public.

The Borough of Homer City has an opening on the Borough Council for a person to fill the existing term (until December 31, 2027) of a member who has resigned. This is not a paid position. Applicants must be a registered voter and have continuously resided in the borough for at least one year prior to appointment. Regular meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month, and attendance is mandatory.
