Looking for a summer job in the great outdoors? 😀😎💥Kachemak Bay State Park is looking for trail crew for a trail project at China P**t Lake.

Crew members will perform arduous manual labor in remote settings. Desired experience: Trail construction and/or trail maintenance; Chainsaw and brushcutter operation; Familiarity with a variety of trail hand tools; Camping for extended amount of time with others. This is a field position, working and living outdoors in all types of weather. All candidates must have a strong work ethic, be able to work/live with others in remote settings, be able to lift and hike up to 60 lbs. over difficult terrain and operate hand and power trail tools.

Possible nuisance black bear was at the China P**t Bay Yurt late night 7/3/2022. Yurt occupants were awoken by it and they scared it off. Assuming that it is human and food habituated. Please use caution and be bear aware if you are headed to China P**t Bay, or anywhere in Kachemak Bay State Park.

Join us at Grace Ridge Brewery in Homer from 4:00 to 6:00 pm to celebrate and share stories while we eat some food. :)

**Kachemak Bay Notice**

The Grewingk Tram is open for public use. We recommend at least 2 people to operate the tram. Depending upon individual upper body strength, pulling the cart across can be strenuous. Gloves are also recommended. Enjoy!😎🙌
