We are JUST GETTING STARTED!!!

Two months ago, I had the incredible opportunity to begin serving as Village Manager.
These first two months have been filled with new experiences, new challenges, and a lot of learning.
I’ve learned something new every single day—and I know there is still so much more to learn.
But one thing has become very clear…
Homer is blessed with some amazing people.
👏A supportive Village Council that cares deeply about Homer.
👏A dedicated Clerk and Treasurer who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep things moving.
👏A hardworking DPW team that takes tremendous pride in our community.
👏Local businesses that invest in Homer, create jobs, serve our residents, and help give our community its unique character.
👏A DDA and Chamber that continue to work hard to support our businesses, events, and community.
👏Residents who care about their community and continue to share their ideas, concerns, and support.
👏And the many volunteers who give their time, talents, and energy to make Homer a better place.
To each of you…thank you for making these first two months so special.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve, excited about what lies ahead, and incredibly proud to be part of the team working together to make Homer even better.
There is still a lot to learn.
There is still a lot to do.
And there is still so much to be excited about.
