Learning About Energy in Action!

Our young scientists have been busy learning about the different forms of energy in Science! 🧪💡

For Tuesday’s homework, students were challenged to take their learning home and talk with their parents/guardians about everyday objects that demonstrate the forms of energy we have been studying. This was a great way to connect what we’re learning in the classroom to the world around us—and to get our families involved in the learning process! 🏠📚

Today, Dr. Morris celebrated students who demonstrated their understanding by earning a 75% or higher on their assignment. These hardworking scholars received a special prize for their effort and achievement! 🎉🏆

We are so proud of our students for learning, exploring, and making real-world connections. A special THANK YOU to our parents and guardians for continuing the learning at home! 💜💛

Parents/Guardians please remind students of the Back to School Dance on next Thursday. Students must have 80% or higher on Class Dojo and without receiving an office referral/suspension to attend.Students are reminded daily during our morning announcements.

Mrs. Carter’s 1st grade scholars are learning that reading is even more fun when we do it together!

Today, students worked with one another through interactive reading, taking turns reading, listening, asking questions, sharing ideas, and encouraging their classmates.

We’re building confidence, communication skills, comprehension, and a love for reading one page at a time!

🎉 A Special Treat for Our Students! 🎉

Yesterday, the following students enjoyed a well-deserved icy treat after their parents joined Dr. Morris’s Remind classroom. As promised, this was our first round of celebrations! Parents who join next week will have their students included in our second round of icy treats.

A special shout-out to Aiden, who earned an icy treat through his outstanding effort and character. He completed all of his work, remained respectful throughout the day, and even took the initiative to help his classmates when he finished.

Dr. Morris is incredibly proud of Aiden and all of the students who continue to demonstrate responsibility, kindness, and a commitment to learning. Keep up the great work, and we look forward to celebrating even more students next week!
