Main Street Homer

Main Street Homer Main Street Homer's Mission is to Revitalize Homer through Economic Development, Cultural and Historic Preservation, and Advancement of the Arts.

April 2014, Homer was awarded the Louisiana Main Street designation. Louisiana Main Street is a community-driven revitalization program designed to promote the historic and economic redevelopment of traditional commercial districts in Louisiana. The Main Street program improves all aspects of downtown, producing both tangible and intangible benefits. Improving economic management, strengthening pu

Main Street Homer was proud to have our Board Advisors Tina Kendrick and Terry Kendrick spend time reading with students at Homer Elementary in celebration of Read Across America Week. Investing in literacy and encouraging a love for reading is one of the many ways our community leaders help inspire the next generation.
