Huxford Genealogical Society Inc The Society owns and operates the Huxford-Spear Library. It is is one of the largest, privately owned libraries east of the Mississippi. to 5:00 P.M.

It depends solely on memberships,contributions and sales of books and other materials published by the Society. Library hours are 9:00 A.M. Monday through Friday. Holidays are:
New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Society Meetings: The second Sunday in February, August and November and the third Sunday in May at 2:00 P.M. in the Municipal Complex auditorium in Homerville.
