Tomorrow, December 31, 2021 is the last day to sign up for recreation basketball. Please see AC Cooper or you may pick up a form at city hall in the water department. We will be open until 3 Friday. Basketball coaches are also needed. Let AC know if you are interested in helping coach a team this basketball season.

All recreation department football players and cheerleaders need to report to Clinch County High School Friday night, October 22, 2021 , at 6:30 for PeeWee Midget Night.

Registration for 2021 tee ball , baseball and softball will be accepted until 12 noon on Monday, March 8th. Registration forms may be picked up at city hall ( they are in a plastic folder near the front door of city hall) or the elementary school. The registration fee this year is $25 per child. You may pay the fee online or put it in the drop box in front of city hall. If you have already paid your registration and paid more than $25 per child , the overpayment will be refunded to you. It’s time to sign up for tee ball, baseball, and girl’s softball. All children ages 4-12 are eligible to play. Sign up forms may be picked up from AC Cooper or from the Clinch County Elementary School. March 5, 2021 is the last day sign up forms will be accepted. All forms and sign up fees must be turned in to AC Cooper. For more information contact AC at 912-599-0181.

Recreation basketball games will be starting soon at the elementary/ middle school gym. For the protection of the public, the recreation department requests that facial coverings or masks be worn by family and friends coming to watch the games. Social distancing is also encouraged while in the gym. Thank you for helping to support our efforts to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and not know it from transmitting it to others.
