Tonight, I am overwhelmed by the events of today. First, I’ve never sat for so many hours in the same place, but I had a perfect view of our community turning out to vote. Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to represent our county. Thank you to Roger Metts for his years of service to our post and Clinch County. May the Lord continue to bless you in the coming days.
May we all move forward with a spirit of cooperation and determination that we must work together for a stronger, more united community. Together, we can accomplish much more than we can believe is possible. Our future depends on a cooperative action to ensure growth and prosperity!
Many of us are really nostalgic as we think about the imminent demolition of dear ole CHS and are reliving so many memories. As the demolition begins, the ruins will be overshadowed by the progress of the new school!
May we move forward from this election with the same hope. May our progress in the wake of this election be that of a United people joined by our love of all things Clinch —especially her people! May we work together knit together by this love of each other and this community! We need a new vision that puts all of us working together for a greater, safer, better Clinch for many generations to come.
Above all, May God receive all the glory for everything that has happened and will happen. Thank you again. I am humbled and honored by this opportunity.
