This is the side entry opposite the door. Usually when I get a fresh stack of plaster board I do as many full sheets as possible and then as I get smaller pieces I go back through and fill in smaller cuts. As a result there is very little waste. I am sure that will be come more difficult as I near the end of the job but for now has been working very well!

Fun fact: The first floor of mesta has over 100 light bulbs which take time to maintain due to high ceilings requiring a 10’ ladder for most! That does not include the many sconces that are wired but yet to be installed!

Some walls require more prep than others. Removing stray old nails and securing boards to studs or leveling walls to achieve the smooth level walls that Mesta once had requires attention to detail. This part of the house was actually the old exterior near the west drive.
