In observance of Memorial Day, MUJER’s offices will be closed. However, our 24/7 confidential Sexual Assault Helpline will remain open to provide support, advocacy, and assistance to survivors in need.

Last week, our team had the honor of visiting the Ocean Reef Community Foundation to receive a generous $50,000 grant in support of MUJER’s mission 💙

This incredible investment helps us continue providing critical services to survivors and families in our community. We are especially grateful for their ongoing partnership, including their Impact Fund, which helps bring our Healing Sanctuary to life as a safe, one-stop resource hub.

We’re also proud to stand alongside our partners at Kristi House, and SOS who are doing vital work to support survivors.

It was an inspiring day of connection, collaboration, and powerful conversations focused on the future of Florida’s nonprofit sector. What an incredible afternoon! 🎨💜

On Saturday, May 2nd, MUJER hosted Women Who Paint the Way at the beautiful Palace Gardens in Homestead.

Women gathered, brushes in hand, hearts open, and painted with purpose. The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and an energy that reminded us all why this work matters so deeply. Together, we raised critical funds to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse right here in South Miami-Dade.

A heartfelt thank you to The Palace Gardens for opening your doors and creating a warm, beautiful space for our community to gather. Your generosity and partnership mean more than words can express. 🙏

To our incredible instructor Gisella, thank you for bringing your talent, your warmth, and your gift for making every single person in that room feel like an artist. You set the tone for a truly unforgettable afternoon. 🎨✨
