Thank you to the Homewood Chamber of Commerce and Homewood Public Library, Homewood, AL for a fun event yesterday. We cut the red ribbon on our new Little Free Library off of Ridge Road. People can now come by and take out a book and then come and peruse the Friends Bookstore on the lower level to find even more treasures!
A special thank you to our Friend's volunteer, local artist Ray Kersh, for painting the library for us!
🎅 Yesterday evening the City of Homewood and the Homewood Chamber of Commerce held its annual Homewood Christmas Parade which featured a festive lineup of floats from local businesses, scouts’ troops, the Homewood High School and John Carroll Catholic High School marching bands, Samford University's football players and cheerleaders and more! 🎄

We thank the Cities of Mountain Brook, Homewood, Hoover & Vestavia Hills for co-hosting this forum. Although it's a topic few think about, your spotlight on this very real issue is essential to bring it out in the open. We hope it leads to prevention and awareness and spurs open and honest conversations. See you tonight at Vestavia Hills City Hall.
