Julia’s Fishes and Loaves intends to provide services and food to active duty military and veteran individuals by retrieving a certification through the Greater Chicago Food Depository to receive nonperishable food products. We have partnered with area managers at the Chicago and Indiana Veteran Centers to have veterans and other individuals who are required to complete community service hours com

plete them at the Greater Chicago Depository. This will translate into in-kind revenue for Julia’s Fishes and Loaves so we may purchase food to distribute free of charge at the various Veteran Center locations. Julia’s Fishes and Loaves may provide good/services/funds to other organizations through partnering with other food pantries in the area, nonprofits, and other companies. We may exchange food items in order to acquire more diversity, or donate some surplus food items to other local food pantries as well. Dr. Roberson, CEO, of Julia’s Fishes and Loaves, may also provide the service of training in food pantry procedures and sanitation to other organizations. Referral, educational, and informational workshops, seminars, and resources are also services provided.
