Continuing education is something we believe in and we always welcome a challenge, but most of all we love to laugh and have FUN! Founded in 1941, the award-winning Homewood Public Library offers books, movies, music and lots of great programming for all ages. The Art of Chocolate with Chocolatier Susan Notter

For all the chocolate lovers out there, join us for a fun and informative program all about the art of chocolate and sugar!

World renowned chocolatier and award-winning pastry chef Susan Notter will talk about the process of creating fine European chocolates and special occasion sugar and chocolate showpieces while demonstrating her skills. (6th-12th Grade) Mini-Con 2026 is coming up! This year's date is October 25th from 2:30-5:30 p.m. We can't sell art of copywritten characters here, BUT we can show it off and give it away! If you are between the 6th and 12th grade and would like to show off your anime or gaming themed art (or really any art that you've done that you love), register to be one of our artists at the convention! The artists that are chosen will be asked to submit a collection of pieces which we will print here and have available with a short bio of each artist at the convention's artists alley tables.
