Continue to Watch for Water on Roadways
Even as rains slow for Medina County, we can continue to see high water and water over the roads as the water in the creeks and river moves south through Medina County. Roads and bridges on the south end of Castroville continue have some that are barricaded.

Keep in mind that modern vehicles have higher fuel efficiency by making vehicles lighter. Very little water on a road can move a vehicle off the road.

Anyone wanting to know the status on roads can go to www.drivetexas.org and see roads that are closed or where there are traffic hazards.

Unless you absolutely have to be on the roads at night, please stay at home where you are dry and safe. Water on the road at night is very difficult to see. Do not become a statistic!

Turn Around, Don't Drown!
