The Hondo Economic Development Corporation and the City of Hondo are looking for food trucks to join us for 🎉 Clock Out with the Chamber 🎉 on August 12 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Medina County Fair Hall!

This family friendly community event brings together local businesses, residents, and visitors for an evening of networking, vendors, music, refreshments, and community fun.

☕📱✨ Creativity was brewing at this month's Morning S.I.P.S. Workshop!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Morning S.I.P.S.: Reel & Carousel Creation + Camera Confidence. From brainstorming content ideas and building engaging carousel posts to practicing on camera confidence, our participants showed up ready to learn, collaborate, and grow. 🎥💡

It was a morning filled with great conversations, fresh ideas, new connections, and plenty of encouragement from fellow business owners and entrepreneurs. There is something special about a room full of people willing to step outside their comfort zone and invest in their business. 🙌

Penny has been learning the ropes with the crew at Medina Electric, shopping local treasures at MainStreet Mercantile, cruising through town with the team at Cecil Atkission Ford, fueling up at Deep Nutrition, finding fabulous styles at La Hacienda Boutique, and is now focusing on wellness with the amazing ladies at Vital Balance Wellness. 🌟

Through the Hondo EDC Facade Improvement Grant Program, we are proud to help local businesses invest in their storefronts, improve curb appeal, and strengthen the heart of our community.

So far, the program has helped support:
🏢 13 facade improvement grants dispersed
💰 Over $69,000 invested directly through grant funding
📈 More than $238,000 in total project investment throughout Hondo

Projects like New Bloom Head Spa & Blowout Bar are a beautiful example of what is possible when businesses invest in themselves and in our community. 🌸

The Hondo EDC Facade Improvement Grant matches 50% of eligible project costs, up to $10,000, for businesses looking to enhance their building exteriors.
