🌿 Honea Path Town Clean-Up Day 🌿

Join us Saturday, March 14 at 9:00 AM for our Town Clean-Up Day!

📍 Meet at: Watkins Community Center Parking Lot

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM

Volunteers will help clean areas in Wards 1, 3, and 5, as well as Main Street. This is a great opportunity to come together as a community and help keep Honea Path clean, beautiful, and welcoming.

Everyone is welcome — bring your family, friends, church groups, and coworkers!

💙 Students needing Beta Club or community service hours can receive credit for volunteering.
Let’s work together to keep our Little Town with a Big Heart looking its best!

Get ready, Honea Path — the magic of Christmas is coming down Main Street! 🎅🚒🎺

Join us Saturday, December 6 at 11:00 AM for the 2025 Honea Path Christmas Parade!
The parade will travel from North Main Street and make its way to Chiquola Baptist Church.

🎄 After the parade:
Head over to the Watkins Community Center for the Festival of Trees beginning at 12 PM!

From motorcycles to floats, community groups to Santa himself — you don’t want to miss this festive tradition in our Little Town with a Big Heart! ❤️💚

You’re invited to kick off the holiday season with us on Sunday, November 23, for a full day of festive fun in downtown Honea Path! 🎅🎁

🎅 Holiday Vendors, Food Trucks & Hot Chocolate: 4 PM – until
📸 Kids Crafts & FREE Photos with Santa: 4 – 6 PM — on the Old Fire Truck! 🚒
⭐ Tree & Nativity Scene Lighting: 6 PM
🎬 Polar Express Movie Showing: 7 PM

🚨 A Message from Empower Honea Path 🚨

Sometimes even in the holiday season, we face moments that are frustrating and disheartening.

Today, while preparing a large Christmas display at Petals & Blooms, several of the ornaments we planned to use were taken before we could finish setting up. These ornaments aren’t expensive — about $75 — but that’s not the point. Our volunteers work incredibly hard to bring joy, beauty, and Christmas spirit to our Little Town with a Big Heart. ❤️🎄

It’s disappointing to see this happen, especially when so much time, planning, and personal effort go into these displays. We do notice when things go missing, and yes — we keep detailed records and photos of everything we place around town.

We do all of this to uplift our community, create festive spaces, and make the season brighter for everyone. Moments like this can be discouraging, but we remain committed to spreading cheer and making Honea Path shine.

If anyone has information or simply wants to help support these efforts, please reach out. And to the person who took the decorations — we hope the holiday spirit finds its way to you. 💛
