Join the Town of Honea Path on Saturday, September 5, 2026, as we come together to help keep our community clean and looking its best!

We’ll be working in areas throughout town, picking up litter, cleaning community spaces, and giving Honea Path a little extra care.

The Town of Honea Path, South Carolina is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified and experienced independent certified public accounting firms to provide professional auditing services for the Town.

The selected firm will perform the Town’s annual financial statement audit and related services in accordance with applicable professional, governmental, federal, and state auditing requirements.

📢 TOWN HALL CLOSURE NOTICE

Honea Path Town Hall will CLOSE at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, to honor our friend and colleague, Judge Darrell Green.

Town Hall will remain CLOSED THROUGH Monday in observance of Labor Day and will reopen on Tuesday, September 8.

Please keep Judge Green’s family, friends, and the many lives he touched in your thoughts and prayers. As a devoted husband, father, friend, and public servant, his impact on our community will be felt for generations to come.

Honea Path Judge Passes Away

HONEA PATH | The Town of Honea Path is mourning the passing of Hon. James D. Green, Jr., who served as an Anderson County Magistrate and Municipal Judge for the Town of Honea Path.

Judge Green passed away Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2026.

Throughout his service on the bench, Judge Green served the citizens of Anderson County and Honea Path with dedication and a strong commitment to his community. His passing is a tremendous loss to those who knew him, worked alongside him, and appeared before him during his years of public service.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Judge Green’s family, friends, colleagues, and the entire community during this difficult time.

🍔🎉 Celebrating Burger King’s Grand Reopening in Honea Path! 🎉🍔

Today, the Town of Honea Path was proud to celebrate the grand reopening of our newly remodeled Burger King, a longtime part of our community since 1994 and now owned and operated by EYAS Hospitality.

The newly remodeled “Sizzle” restaurant brings a fresh, updated look to Honea Path and reflects continued investment in our community.

We would also like to recognize Yoxy Rodriguez for her leadership and dedication to both her team and customers. Her commitment to providing great service and creating a welcoming environment has helped make this reopening a success.

It was great to see families, community members, and local leaders come together for today’s celebration, which included games, activities, and a chance to win Free Whoppers for a Year through the Spin the Wheel event.

The Town of Honea Path is proud to support our local businesses and celebrate their continued growth and success. Congratulations to Burger King, EYAS Hospitality, Yoxy Rodriguez, and the entire team on this exciting new chapter! 🎀👏
