Get ready, Honea Path — the magic of Christmas is coming down Main Street! 🎅🚒🎺

Join us Saturday, December 6 at 11:00 AM for the 2025 Honea Path Christmas Parade!
The parade will travel from North Main Street and make its way to Chiquola Baptist Church.

🎄 After the parade:
Head over to the Watkins Community Center for the Festival of Trees beginning at 12 PM!

Exciting News… Dancing Goat Folk Fest is back on! Let me introduce myself. My name is Justin Thomas Atkin and I am a self taught, southern folk artist from Honea Path, SC. I loved the Dancing Goat Folk Fest and hated it so bad when it closed down in Ellijay, Ga. Mona Lowe done an amazing job with it for many years and she built it in to one the best Folk Art shows in the country! It was always a favorite of mine and I looked forward to it every year. Well, Mona and I put our heads together , I know - that’s scary, and decided that I would bring Dancing Goats to my hometown of Honea Path, SC and start it back up! We are keeping the best parts of Dancing Goats such as great folk artist, goat beauty pageants, and live music but moving locations , changing it to the spring (April 11,2026) and expanding many elements such as bringing in award winning national touring music acts. Special thanks to Mona for all the hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to make Dancing Goats special in the past and all the support she has given me for sucess in the future. Keep checking back as I post more details soon! If you are a folk artist or a fan of folk art… get ready!
