On Friday July 24,2026 about 9:30 a.m. the Honey Grove Police Department assisted by the Fannin County Sheriff’s Department and Texas DPs, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 500 block of 1st street in Honey Grove. The FCSO Special Response Team executed the warrant and quickly secured 5 individuals at the residence.

Jules Ennis Banker was the person in control of the residence and had been the subject of several months of investigations.

Jules Ennis Banker was arrested at the residence and charged with:

1. Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG1. 4g-200g Drug Free Zone

2. Possession of Ma*****na 28g Drug Free Zone

David Michael Ginn was arrested at the residence and charged with:

1. Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG1. 4g-200g Drug Free Zone

2. Possession of Controlled Substance PG1< 1g Drug Free Zone

3. Outstanding warrant Bond Violation Assault Family Violence

4. Outstanding warrants Expired license and expired registration

Both Banker and Ginn were booked into Fannin County Jail.

3 other individuals were detained but released without charges.

HGPD would like to thank Fannin County Sheriff’s Office and Texas DPS for outstanding work on the ex*****on of the warrant. Cooperation between all law enforcement is crucial to battling crime in our jurisdictions.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

This week, we honor the men and women behind the badge who serve with courage, compassion, and commitment every single day. During National Police Week, the Honey Grove Police Department proudly recognizes the sacrifice, dedication, and heart of law enforcement officers across the nation — especially those serving our own community here at home under the leadership of Chief Leigh Dixon.

We also pause to remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward. Their service and bravery will never be forgotten.

Thank you to every officer and supporter who stands beside us. Your encouragement, prayers, and kindness mean more than words can express.

If anyone would like to drop off drinks, snacks, donuts, or treats for our officers during National Police Week, we thank you in advance for your kindness and support. Small gestures truly mean the world to those serving our community each day. 💙
