Proud to be AMC! 💪

Happy birthday to 85 years of global mobility, rapid response and unwavering commitment.

Originally established in 1941 as the Air Corps Ferrying Command during World War II, AMC is the oldest major command in the United States Air Force. What began with aircraft ferrying and transporting critical cargo and passengers has evolved into a force delivering rapid global mobility around the world at a moment’s notice.

The 731 AMS team had the honor of participating in the 25th Transportation Battalion Movement Control Academy, an intensive training event focused on strengthening Movement Control Transportation Operations within the Korean Theater of Operations.

The week culminated in a six-team competition where participants were tested on pallet build-up, rail tie-down operations, shipping documentation, container inspections, RFID tagging, and a comprehensive knowledge exam. Five of the six teams were from U.S. Army units within the 25th TB, with 731 AMS proudly representing the U.S. Air Force.

After a challenging and highly competitive event, 731 AMS took 1st place 🥇 earning an Army Achievement Medal and marking a back-to-back championship win for the 731 AMS!

Proud of our Airmen for their professionalism, teamwork, and continued excellence in joint operations.

Mission success starts with safety. ✈️

Recently featured in AMC’s Mobility Forum magazine, Airmen from the 730th Air Mobility Squadron were recognized for developing innovative process improvements and human performance-focused training to reduce flightline mishaps at Yokota Air Base, Japan.

Facing significant mission surges and demanding flightline conditions, the team implemented new cargo movement procedures, enhanced risk management practices and created a human factors course designed to strengthen critical thinking and proactive safety culture across operations.

Their efforts resulted in an 80% reduction in loader-related mishaps in just three months — showcasing how mission-ready Airmen continue driving innovation, resilience and operational excellence across the Indo-Pacific.

Readiness starts long before the mission launches.

The 735th Air Mobility Squadron opened its doors to mobility and compliance leaders from across the Indo-Pacific during a multi-day tabletop exercise designed to strengthen wartime readiness through collaboration, innovation and real-world problem solving.

What began as an internal training initiative has evolved into a scalable exercise environment challenging Airmen to adapt under pressure, execute commander’s intent and operate through the complexities of contingency operations.

By sharing lessons learned and best practices across the theater, the 735th AMS is helping build more agile, mission-focused mobility teams ready for tomorrow’s fight.
