Yesterday Renegade Troop hosted the 2-6 CAV Memorial ceremony at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. The Troop recently restored the Museum’s OH-58D #368 and presented a memorial plaque that will remain inside the display to honor Renegade Troop’s fallen scout pilots. Last week we had 7 Renegade troopers conduct underwater egress training (UET) at Marine Corps Base Hawaii.

Six of our newest pilots were qualified along with one of our top performing 15R, SPC Stevenson!

There were three stages to the exercise. It began with classroom training, followed by shallow water egress training, and culminated with the Advanced Helo Underwater Egress (AHUE) in the deep end of the pool.

The regengade troop would like to introduce our newest Corporal, CPL Rashad Thomas (15W / UAS Pilot). CPL Thomas distinguished himself from his peers while in the Basic Leaders Course and earned a spot on the commandants list. He continues to exemplify what it means to be a teammate through his actions and we look forward to him leading renegade troopers.
