This past Friday, the 2026 Legislative Session officially adjourned Sine Die! This session marked the passage of a historic state budget that prioritized Hawaiʻi’s working families while advancing landmark legislation that will help shape the future of our state. Together, we made meaningful progress in education, healthcare, public safety, economic development, technology, environmental stewardship, and protecting local communities across Hawaiʻi.

I am grateful to my colleagues, community advocates, and the people of Hawaiʻi for their partnership and engagement throughout the session. While there is still more work ahead, this session reflected our shared commitment to building a stronger, safer, and more resilient Hawaiʻi for future generations!
