Hello New Hope hikers!!!
Take a break from your Christmas shopping and burn off some of those excess Thanksgiving calories.
Join us for a hike to the Kaena Point Natural Area Reserve (a remote and scenic protected area harboring some of the last vestiges of coastal sand dune habitat on the island, and home to native plants and seabirds), as well as the fellowship and to burn off some of those extra calories from your succulent Thanksgiving meal.

Please if you haven't already, complete and sign our hiking ministry waiver. If you forget to bring it, we will have blank ones for you to fill out at the hike or better yet, email us for the waiver [email protected]
Driving directions: Take H-1 freeway going west towards Nanakuli. The freeway quickly ends and turns into Farrington Highway. Continue on this road passing through Nanakuli, Ma'ili, Wai'anae and Makaha. Continue until you see a guard station on the right. Park in the dirt lot (safer to leave your car there to avoid break-ins) then meet at the New Hope parking sign.
The parking space is limited, so let us know if you need a ride or can provide one!
Note: We have a back-up hike planned in case the Kaena Point trail is closed due to high surf. We will notify you via FB or email if the trail is still closed a day before our hike so stay tuned!
