🧡 About the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaiʻi 🧡
Kidney disease affects Hawaiʻi at 30% higher rates than the national average, and nearly 1 in 2 adults ages 30–64 is expected to develop chronic kidney disease in their lifetime. Yet 90% of people with kidney disease don’t know they have it.

The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaiʻi works to change that through free education, screenings, nutrition guidance, and community outreach that help people prevent kidney disease, detect it earlier, and manage it with confidence.

Guided by the values of kuleana and mālama, we are working toward a future where kidney disease in Hawaiʻi is prevented, detected early, and managed with compassion and equity.
