Our neighbors needed help. We showed up. 🌧️

This week, Echelon Hawaiʻi volunteers supported Emergency Disaster Services intake at TSA Kaneohe Corps for families impacted by the Kona Low flooding.

Flashback Friday to our Red Kettle Takeover in December!

Just a few pictures of some our lovely volunteers ringing bells and serving our community. ❤️

Red Kettle Takeover is our annual Echelon tradition..and in our recent years, we've been able to expand and fundraise all month long, virtually!

This year we were able to have some young volunteers from Keelikolani Middle's Interact Club. Not pictured, this was their first time ringing bells and they loved supporting the community and TSA. 🤗

We are always looking for volunteers looking to serve the community through volunteer efforts, for this and other events. Please reach out if you or someone you know is interested!

Funds raised go directly to support the Kauluwela Corps programs, including the food pantry and Salvation Army Meal program that benefit our Honolulu community and Red Pencil Project schools.

Whether through a story, a smile, or a shared moment of culture, KINDNESS always brings us closer. ❤️

Our Red Pencil Project team celebrated World Kindness Day by visiting local schools where Erin read her book “One Chocolate at a Time” and Miss Samoa Hawaiʻi Hope Kaumatule led a fun Samoan warm-up that filled the room with energy and smiles. 🌺

We’re grateful for the chance to plant seeds of kindness in our community, one school visit at a time. 📚

School started last week- and so did the start of 2025’s Red Pencil Project! 📓📝📕

Over the school year, we teach four different values to third graders through fun activities. These are values we share at Echelon and Salvation Army, and appreciate that these schools are willing to partner with us to inspire young leaders.

This past week we learned about 💫 Generosity 💫 and finished our event by handing out brand new school supplies ✏️ + backpacks 🎒 as tools for success for their new year.

Currently we service two schools but eventually would love to impact more. Keep an eye out for our next RPP event in November!
