AND cannot forget the help of our sister Hawaii Kai Orchid club for their beautiful display and support for our show! Plus our friend, Scot Mitamura for his awesome talk on Honohono orchids, which was standing room only in the hot sun on Saturday. Way to go Scot!

KOS show volunteers really came through! For publicity, this was our best year ever, with many volunteers at the Kahala Mall, Home Depot and handing out our flyers and bookmarks all over town. Thank you to Kean and Alex for being radio stars this year too!

kos orchids for everyone show community minute on kitv this morning...

Kaimuki Orchid Society is hosting the 2011 KOS Orchid Show. It's at Aina Haina Elementary School Cafeteria on Saturday July 30th at 8:30 am - 5 pm and on Sunday July 31st 8:30 am - 4 pm.

Also don't forget to tune into KITV Thursday morning at 5:30 am (really!) and Listen to the radio show "Mike Buck" Friday at 4pm with interview by Kean Matsumoto and Saturday morning 9:10 am on Perry and Price with interview by Alex Alexander to promote our show.

We had an awesome turnout of volunteers for our promotion event at Kahala Mall. There were many people admiring the orchids we brought and interested in joining our club. It was a great event! Thank you to everyone who participated!

Don't forget our Kahala Mall Event on July 23 from 10-3pm and our Iwilei Home Depot Event with a potting demonstration by Kean Matsumoto, Orchidist of the Year for KOS on Sunday July 24 from 10am to 1pm! See you there! Our show is July 30 and 31 at Aina Haina Elementary School!
