Kalani's Athletics Program is a valuable asset that allows students to participate in a wide variety of sports offerings at Kalani High School. The Falcons field 56

teams in 19 different sports for grades 9 - 12. Over 50% of the student body participates on an athletic team with almost half of them participating in multiple sports. Kalani High School’s Mission Statement consists of three words: Opportunity, Quality and Sportsmanship:

• OPPORTUNITY – All students who wish to be on a team can be, if they are willing to adhere to the commitments required of them by the coach.

• QUALITY – Our goal is for every student-athlete, team, and coach to develop their talents to the fullest, and compete to the best of their ability.

• SPORTSMANSHIP – We believe that winning is not just achieved on a scoreboard, but also requires the highest standards of conduct from every athlete, coach and spectator involved. Athletics is an extension and an integral part of the school’s educational process. It plays an important role in character building and the development of moral and social values. It is a mechanism for students to excel in areas of physical and athletic talents and provide for a wholesome educational experience that will nurture the mind and body. Interscholastic athletics demands a sense of purpose from the student-athlete. GO FALCONS!
