Mahalo to Melanie Spielman and the staff at Waimea Valley Botanical Park for the awesome Earth Day celebration! We so enjoyed being a part of the celebration yesterday and were so honored to be part of a wonderful event where Keiki and their Families joined the staff to learn about conservation of Native Hawaiian plants and trees! The Keiki worked hard yesterday cleaning the streams and gardens of invasive species of plants to help sustain our native plants! Some plants and animals are so endangered the park may have some of the only specimens left in the world!!
