He called this resolution a repeat of the “Anti-Masonic Party”. He meant it as a warning, but it's more like a badge.
That party didn't fizzle. It became America's first successful third party, built in five months by voters who refused to let a secret society answer only to itself. If "Third Party Watch" thinks reviving that model is scandalous, they've confirmed exactly why the resolution is needed.

In 1826, William Morgan threatened to expose Masonic rituals. He was kidnapped, and was never seen again. Fifty-four Masons got indicted. Ten got convicted and served thirty days to two years as a result. The public watched a powerful institution close ranks and protect its own. Sound familiar?
💪 THE PEOPLE ACTED.
Towns across New York didn't wait for justice from a rigged system. Batavia, Bethany, and Stafford refused to vote for any Mason. Seneca barred Masons from office, period. Some towns even boycotted newspapers that stayed silent.
Within five months, the movement built the first third national party in American history.

That's the Non-Aggression Principle in action.
Our chair brought a resolution built on that same principle. When power protects itself, the counterbalance is often found in simple disclosure and accountability. Libertarians should organize to make sure no institution stands above the individual.
