Happy new year! Thanks to our fundholders, friends and donors for making 2019 a year of growth for the Gorge Community Foundation. Here's just some of what we accomplished with your support:
- Made over $300,000 in grants to Gorge non-profits this year, and nearly $2 million since 2003
- Made the largest number of grants - 37 - in a given month in July 2019
- Provided scholarships to nearly 30 students in Hood River, Goldendale and Lyle school districts
- Reached $6.5 million in assets
- Brought new fundholders – individuals, families and non-profit organizations – into the Foundation
- Secured the services of a new investment management firm, Ferguson Wellman, to guide our growth, and thanked our previous management firm, UBS, for nearly two decades of skillful and dedicated service.
- Strengthened communities from Carson to Moro, and everywhere in between.

Wishing you and yours all the best for the season and beyond.
