Hood River Reads author Brian Flies and his graphic novel A Fire Story presented to 8th Grade students this morning. Wow. Students shared their "one pager" summary projects to him. His discussion of the writing and artistic process was incredible. Thank you Hood River County Library and the Hood River County Education Foundation for bringing this opportunity to our kids!

HRMS Bands performed tonight with Wy'east and HRVHS in the HRCSD Combined Band Concert. All the bands were great. What an excellent show after such a long wait. Thank you Mr. Lane, Norcross, and Kenealy for making this happen!
