Join me tomorrow (August 27) for a talk on "Photographing Forests & Trees." I'll be presenting from 4-6pm and I'll add where you can sign up in the comments section. Forests photography is tough, but I'll be giving some compositional pointers and what I look for in forest photography, along with lens choice, the light I look for in a forest, and stories that can be told with your forest and tree photography. Afterwards, I'll be demonstrating some processing and I'll be conducting photo critiques. I hope you can join me!

There is still time to join us for the 1-day "Photographing Wildflowers" workshop next Saturday.

It's that time of year again, Glacier Lilies are popping up all over my property. It's pretty nice when you can walk just a few meters to photograph wildflowers. There is still room for the "Photographing Wildflowers" 1-day workshop on March 28.

Taken during the last Hood River Photo Walk of the year.

Had a great time during the last Hood River Photo Walk of the season. We spent the night photographing holiday lights and other things - this is one of those "other things." The reflections off the metal helped make the sculpture light cool. Canon 24-70mm, f8, 320 ISO, 5 sec.

We have a very special photo walk coming up this December 7th. We will be photographing the holiday lights in Hood River starting at 4PM. David and Michael will also talking about the exciting new events coming next year, hope to see you there!
