If you have left your debit/credit card in the ATM in Hookerton please make contact with the town office and be able to provide a ID. If not pick up by the end of the day it will be turned over to the Greene County Sheriff office.

It’s that time of year again!

Update: The Power will go off between now and 2pm and be off for about an hour. Per Duke Energy

Attention town of Hookerton residents, there was a vehicle accident on Hwy 58S which broke two of Duke Energy’s utility poles that feed the Town. I have spoken with Supervisors on scene and they expect to have to drop the Town to replace the poles, I was given a ETA of lunchtime for the outage. If we receive any updates I will pass them along.

Duke Energy has a power outage that has caused the Town to be out. Sorry for the inconvenience but they have a crew on scene to restore power.

This week, two of our dedicated employees traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with state and federal legislators. Their mission: to advocate for the importance of public power and ensure that the voices of our community are heard at the highest levels of government. These discussions are vital to shaping policies that support reliable, affordable, and locally controlled energy.

We’re proud to have team members representing our organization and making a meaningful impact on the future of public power!

Town Office will be closing at 12pm on March 28, 2025 due to employee training. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this matter. The office will re-open on March 31, 2025 at 8:00 am.
