Friendly Reminder: It’s Mowing Season!

Hello Residents,

It’s that time of year again! Spring is here and the grass is growing Friendly "Start of Season" Reminder
As the rain falls and the sun shines, our grass is growing! This is a friendly reminder from Code Enforcement to keep your lawns, hedges, and trees trimmed.
Goal: Keep grass/weeds under [e.g., 10 or 12] inches.
Don't Forget: Trim around fences, trees, and edge sidewalks/curbs.
Save yourself a letter (and a side-eye from your neighbor) by keeping it maintained! Thanks for helping keep our community beautiful.

Another reminder to all the residents of the City of Hooks for the City wide clean up. Between April 20, 2026 – April 24, 2026, any Hooks TX residents with an active account will be able to utilize the “Spring Bulk trash service”. Items must be dropped off at the sewer plant located at the end of Willow Oak Drive between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. YOU MUST DELIVER TO THE PLANT. There will be someone available to help unload.
