What a day!!! We want to thank the thousands of you that had stopped out to the Hookstown Sportsmans Bash at the Hookstown Fair grounds!! The weather was great! Beer was cold! And food was hot! We want to thank you all again for supporting us! And congratulations to all of our winners today!!

We also want to thank the countless other organizations that help make this even possible!

All numbers will be updated to the website over the weekend. And any winners that were not present will be contacted this week.

It had been a busy day here in Hookstown!! Crews responded to 6 calls so far today in-between getting ready for our Memorial Day Parade. We want to thank our Neighbors at Patriot Emergency Response for the quick service of several of these calls today!

The Annual Hookstown Memorial Day Parade is just a couple days away! Line up starts at 10am! Floats/Groups line up on Main Street. (Procced up North Washington Street and make the Right on to Main street). Fire Apparatus to line up on Mill Street in front of the Post Office. (Facing Route 168 towards Shippingport). The Parade will start at 11am! The Parade will start at the intersections of Main Street and 168 and travel South on Route 168 passing the Greene Township Park, continuing past the Hookstown Fair Grounds and the Hookstown VFD Ladies Aux who will be set up at the Hookstown Fire station selling Hot dogs and refreshments! The parade will finish in the American Legion Parking lot!

🚧🚧🚧 Roll-over Motor Vehicle Accident🚧🚧🚧

Route 30 in the area of the State line. Emergency Crews are operating a Single vehicle accident in the 3200blk of Route 30. Please use caution in the area from Reddog Road to the State line.

🚧🚧🚧 Update.. Road ways is reopened as of 330pm

Crews are currently out at the intersection of Route 168 and McCleary road with tree down with wires involved. McCleary Road is accessible from Hookstown Boro. But traffic will need to detour to go into Shippingport. 🚧🚧🚧
