We recently announced our approval to administer blood products in the prehospital setting for Beaver County, PA. The first, and currently only agency with this capability in Beaver County. Not only is this a life-saving tool for our patients, but also an available resource to our surrounding agencies.
We were able to chat with Paramedic & Co-Owner - Mike Hallam for a brief discussion on this new progressive skillset now available in the field.
Gratitude to our Medical Director - Dr. Morosco for his support in make this all possible.

Starting off the weekend with some big news!!! 🚑🩸

We are officially APPROVED to administer our prehospital blood products! We are the first and currently the only service in Beaver County to do so!

This is a huge step forward for our service and the communities we serve. When patients experience severe blood loss, every minute matters. Being able to start blood transfusions before reaching the hospital gives our crews another tool to provide lifesaving care when it’s needed most.

We’re proud to make this resource available not only to our own patients, but also to surrounding agencies when requested. With blood products carried in our rapid response vehicle, we can respond throughout the region to provide prehospital blood transfusions whenever needed. We remain committed to bringing progressive, evidence-based medicine to the communities we serve.

A huge thank you to our Medical Director, Dr. Morosco, for his support in helping make this approval possible.

We give God all the glory for making opportunities like this possible and allowing us to serve others through this calling.
