Hoopa AmeriCorps on Native Lands Hoopa AmeriCorps on Native Lands program is a tribal AmeriCorps program that provides services to elders residing on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation.

Hoopa AmeriCorps on Native Lands has provided assistance to the Hoopa Valley Reservation community and their greatest needs, since 1998. The focus of the program is Elder's Assistance, which include clearing brush around the house, minor outside home repairs, clearing gutters, providing and stacking firewood, landscaping and gardening, cleaning fish or gathering acorns and other materials for traditional cultural projects, or just visiting and providing companionship.

If you would like to join Hoopa Tribal CCC for 1700 hours we have three spots left. Call us for an application. It can take one month to process after received. Must be 18 years older, Drug/Alcohol Free, no Criminal history and willing to abide by the Residential Rules while living on our campus located in Hoopa CA in exchange for the work experience in the environment, an education award for college of $5645, room and board and a weekly living stipend of $100.
