A BIG thank you to Crose Plumbing Heating and Cooling for donating 10.00 from every service call, in the months of June and July,to our school supply drive. I’d also like to take this time to extend our deepest gratitude to EVERYONE who contributed to our school supply assistance program this year. A special SHOUT OUT to all the LOCAL BUSINESSES that stepped up and made the initiative possible! A HEARTFELT THANKS to all of our GENEROUS community members for coming together to assist local students. Once again we helped almost 300 students!

This week, the Multi Agency received a delivery of school shoes that were meant for local children in need as they prepare to head back to school. Sadly, before we could get them inside, someone stole more than $600 worth of shoes. Thankfully, the Hoopeston Police Department acted quickly. Within just a few hours, the individuals responsible had been identified and apprehended, earning themselves an unexpected trip to the Public Safety Building. We are incredibly grateful for the fast response and hard work of our local officers. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission, and a shout out to the Hoopeston Police Department for their swift action and commitment to our community.

FRIDAY IS THE DAY THAT OSF CARE-A-VAN WILL BE IN THE PARKING LOT ACROSS FROM THE MULTI AGENCY. GREAT TIME TO GET YOUR STUDENT'S VACCINATIONS AND SPORTS OR SCHOOL PHYSICALS.

The Multi Agency will be having school supply assistance sign ups beginning on Monday, July 13th for any students in need in the HA school district (K-12). It's super easy, you call the office (217-283-5544), ask for Angie, have your child's age, grade, gender & shoe size ready to give her. IT'S AS EASY AS PIE.(please be patient you may have to leave your name and number but Angie will get back with you).

As I reflect on my last 8 years as the Executive Director of the Hoopeston Multi Agency, I have many fond memories! When I first started, I would’ve never guessed that the Agency would touch so many lives nor would I have dreamt that it would have such an impact on my life- so many fond memories, amazing people, tons of laughs, a few tears, a little stress, and a lot of lifetime friendships for that I am blessed. I have served with a dedicated board and worked alongside the most caring and loyal staff. HMA is invaluable to our community serving over 2,000 individuals a year and is continuously growing. The generosity of our donors and dedication of our volunteers make it all possible- thank you! The many programs that we offer is life changing. The senior dances, transportation program, the food pantry, client assistance, Under Cover Santa night, and school supply drive have definitely been some of my favorite moments! If you were to ask what I am most proud of while at HMA, I would say our tribute wall! (I know some of you thought I was gonna say the beautiful BLACK & GOLD “Boiler Up”staff bathroom I painted). Well, I am excited about that but, I am super proud of our new wall! It is the perfect display to honor those that volunteer countless hours, went above and beyond, and those that chose to honor the Hoopeston Multi Agency with their memorial gifts. Thank you Joe Foster for making our Memorial & Volunteer Boards. Thank you Wood and Beyond, Debbie & Jason Pickett for working with us on designing a layout-even when I changed my mind a million times! You guys created the perfect display- awesome job! Thank you!

Thank you all for making my time at HMA so memorable. I look forward to my new adventure as the Executive Director of the Vermilion County Mental Health 708 Board!
