National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW) is celebrated annually during the second full week of April (April 12–18, 2026) to honor the "first, first responders" who manage emergency calls. This week recognizes 911 dispatchers for their crucial role in providing calm, expert assistance and coordinating emergency services.

National EMT and Paramedic Appreciation Day is observed annually on April 15 to honor the lifesaving work, dedication, and bravery of emergency medical professionals. Created to recognize those who often work under intense stress, it encourages communities to thank EMTs and paramedics for their frontline services.

We are saddened at the loss of our past driver member, John Lettre.
Some people go through life seeking recognition, while others simply make the world better by showing up. John was the latter.
As a dedicated volunteer driver, a loving family man, and a selfless community servant. John lived a life that embodied true compassion and service, a familiar, smiling face who cared deeply about his neighbors.
