The Hoosick Historical Society celebrates the heritage of a town rich with historical significance tracing back to the colonial era. It is our mission to explore, preserve, and share the history and artifacts that commemorate the town of Hoosick and celebrate its role in the growth and development of the region. As we honor and remember those who gave their lives for our freedom, we especially remember the 103 men from the Town of Hoosick who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage and service will never be forgotten. This is what Memorial Day is truly about.

We are honored to share this video taken in 2020 from veteran Tom Webster, who has since passed away. As we remember those who served and sacrificed, may we also honor Tom and the many veterans whose stories, service, and dedication helped shape our community and country.
