We are halfway through our countdown and tomorrow starts audition week!! We are praying for calm minds, healthy bodies, and that everyone is surrounded with love and support this week! Good luck to all of our dancers who are auditioning!

We love our annual middle school clinic and getting to work with our future dancers! Register now and let the Varsity Buccanettes help your dancer get ready for middle school or high school auditions! Share with your favorite 6th-8th grade dancer! 💖

It’s almost audition time and we are so excited! Our city is overflowing with talent, heart, and potential, and we would love to see more dancers step into something bigger than themselves.

Being a Buccanette is about dedication, growth, family, and pride in representing Hoover High School. If that sounds like you, join us Tuesday, Feb 24 at 6:00 PM in the Hoover Band Hall for the mandatory audition meeting. The dancer and one parent or guardian must attend.

Please join us in congratulating our Junior Varsity and Varsity Buccanettes on another successful Nationals!!

JV really stepped up their difficulty in jazz this year and earned some of their highest scores yet! They finaled in both dances and placed 7th in Hip Hop and 8th in Jazz!

Varsity accomplished their number one goal of going to finals in all three categories! They placed 14th in Hip Hop, 12th in Jazz, and 3rd in Rally Dance!

We are so very proud of these amazing dancers for representing our school, community, and program so well on the Nationals stage!!

The Hoover High School Buccanettes dance teams competed at the DTU Alabama State Championships today Spainpark High Schoolark High School and walked away with 3 state championship titles, 1 state championship runner-up title, 1 3rd place award, and one specialty award for creative excellence!

Most importantly, both teams overcame significant challenges this week, showed tremendous sportsmanship cheering on other schools competing, and increased all of their previous scores! Thank you to DTU & the Spain Park Dazzlers for hosting another wonderful competition and to all of our friends and family for their support! Go Bucs!

1st regional competition of the season & we couldn’t be prouder of our teams! So excited for our Varsity team to place third in both Varsity Hip Hop + Varsity Jazz & JV to place 1st in both Jr Varsity Hip Hop + Jr Varsity Jazz amongst such talented teams! In addition, the JV Buccsnettes were named the JV Grand Champion for their Hip Hop routine!!! 🧹 We had such a great time hosting the Bama Dance Championship for the 10th year and are looking forward to the rest of our season!🏆

Catch both teams in 2 weeks at the DTU Alabama State Championship @ Spain Park!

Last Sunday, the Junior Varsity & Varsity Buccanettes (and our friends, the Spain Park Dazzlers!) helped raise money and awareness for Hoover Helps by performing at their annual Ho Ho Hoover celebration! Our teams love giving back to the Hoover community that has given so much to us all!
