Even though the school is closed today due to the threat of severe weather, because the dangerous weather will be out of our area by that time, after school activities, including our Audition Clinic, are still on! We can’t wait to start working with all of the amazing dancers auditioning this week!!

The Hoover Varsity & Junior Varsity Buccanettes did a wonderful job last week at the 2025 Dance Team Union High School Dance Team Nationals!

Our JV teams went to finals in both their Jazz & Hip Hop routines, finishing 9th for Hip Hop and an awesome 4th for Jazz!!!

Our Varsity team went straight to finals in Hip Hop & Rally Dance finishing 12th for Hip Hop (out of more than 30 teams!) and 3rd for Rally Dance!!! They fought hard with an amazing Jazz routine but missed finals this year.

Please join us in congratulating both of these amazing teams for representing Hoover High School so well! From their performances to their support of each other and every other team competing, we are so proud of them!

Extra special thanks to all of our supportive family, friends, school, & community throughout the competition season this year!!

We’ve had the best time ringing in the Christmas season this week! So many celebrations of dance, family, & friends!!🎄

This week: Ho Ho Hoover, shopping for our angel tree children, Winter Dance Showcase, Winter Sports Pep Rally, Holiday Youth Clinic, & first Basketball Game performance! These girls do it all and do it WELL!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
