New baby, no family nearby? 🤍
Maybe your parents live across the country, or across an ocean. Maybe your husband’s leave is two weeks long. And you’re wondering how you’ll heal, feed a baby, and sleep, all at once.
When my four babies were born in England, midwives came to my home in those first weeks. They checked on my recovery, helped with feeding, and told me I was doing a good job. I’ve never forgotten how much that mattered.
Most families here don’t have that built in. When there’s no family support after baby arrives, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed after bringing baby home.
That’s why I offer postpartum doula support, with daytime visits or overnight care. I bring practical help, compassionate postpartum care, and a steady presence for your whole family.
If you’re expecting and looking for Birmingham Alabama newborn support, DM me and let’s talk about your first weeks home.
