John Lytle Wilson is a Birmingham, AL based artist known for his paintings of robots, monkeys and various other creatures. Lytle Wilson often works in a variety of formats such as murals, large canvases and onto found art. A native of Rock Hill, SC, John earned a BFA from Birmingham-Southern and an MFA from Florida State. He also served on the faculty of both institutions. When not painting, John spends time with his wife and kids, is active in the Avondale PTA and enjoys nature and swimming.
