The Hoover Democrats are honored to endorse Dakarai Larriett to be Alabama’s next US Senator.
Our organization has never made an endorsement during a primary election runoff, but we, the executive committee, believe the magnitude of the moment requires us to take this unprecedented decision. We ask that you vote, and tell your friends and family to vote for Dakarai Larriett this Tuesday, June 16th.
The United States is undergoing a pivotal time in democracy, and throughout our country’s history, Alabama has been the birthplace for both negative and positive change. We believe the 2026 midterms could ignite a path toward this positive change, a much needed upward progression for the country. It begins with having strong candidates on the Alabama Democratic ticket.
Larriett should be our next US Senator because he is a man for the people. He will “put service over self and country over party.”
