Mrs. Weems and members of our staff had the opportunity to participate in the district’s strategic planning process!

Over the course of two days, they joined educators and leaders from across Hoover City Schools to reflect on the strengths of our district and share ideas for continued growth.

Superintendent Dr. Maddox encouraged meaningful collaboration and thoughtful conversations as participants worked together to help shape the future of HCS. We are proud to have members of our Bluff Park family sharing their voices and perspectives as part of this important work!

We’re excited to welcome Deanna Misner as a Fifth Grade Teacher!

“Hi everyone! My name is Deanna Misner, and I’m so excited to be at Bluff Park! I’ll be teaching 5th grade this year alongside an amazing team!

I’m married to Josh, and we have three kids: Caroline, Sarah Kate, and McClain. I graduated with a degree in elementary education from the University of Mississippi, aka Ole Miss. Hotty Toddy!

This will be my 3rd year in the classroom, but my 14th year in education. I’m looking forward to a great year!”

We’re excited to welcome Jaimie Davis as a Paraprofessional!

“Hey everyone!! My name is Jaimie Davis and I am so excited to be a Para at Bluff Park Elementary! I have two daughters named Hollis and Marlee, and a fur baby named Nova!

We love Auburn football, and when I’m not at school you can catch me playing wiffle ball with the neighborhood or playing outside with my girls! I’m so excited to be in the house of TRUA!!❤️”
