It looks like thereโ€™s something in the water at City Hall this month!

April has officially become the busiest month on our calendar as we continue our "Birthday Tour" across the dais. ๐ŸŽˆ

Join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to our Council President Pro-Tem, Khristi Driver! ๐ŸŽ‚

If Steve is the "Favorite" and Gene is the "Inquisitor," Khristi is undeniably the Voice of Reason and is the definition of "grace under pressure." As an attorney and a steady hand on the Council, she serves as an anchor of calm logic and intellect, ensuring our big ideas are as legally sound as they are ambitious. She brings a thoughtful, professional presence to every meetingโ€”which is no small feat when sheโ€™s sandwiched between the rest of this crew! โš–๏ธ

Khristi, thank you for your kindness and professionalism that truly make you a leader for all of Hoover. We hope you get to step away from the zoning maps and city budgets today to enjoy a very well-deserved celebration!

Help us celebrate Khristi by dropping a birthday wish in the comments below! ๐Ÿ‘‡

Great news for the City of Hoover!

We are proud to share that the newly passed Alabama State budget includes a substantial increase in support for our local economic development. For the past several years, the City has received $75,000 to support operations surrounding the SEC Baseball Tournament. This year, that funding has grown to $275,000.

This major boost is the direct result of the advocacy of our Mayor and City Council. By prioritizing face-to-face collaboration and strengthening our ties in Montgomery, we successfully secured these additional resources for our community. All those trips to the capital are paying off, proving once again that relationships truly matter.

We want to extend a sincere Thank You to our Hoover delegation of lawmakers. Their hard work and partnership in Montgomery were instrumental in securing this significant investment for our city.

This funding will help us continue to provide a world-class experience for visitors and residents alike during one of our city's most significant annual events. We look forward to putting these funds to work for Hoover's continued growth and success.
