🇺🇸 Join the Hopatcong Fire Department this Saturday as we help salute the Veterans of Hopatcong during the annual Veterans Cruise aboard the Miss Lotta.

The Miss Lotta is scheduled to pass under the River Styx Bridge at approximately 10:20 AM. Please plan to arrive close to 10:00 AM so you're in place and ready to welcome our Veterans.

⚾️ We had a great time tonight kicking off the Hopatcong Little League Benefit Games against our friends from the Hopatcong Police Department.

Congratulations to HPD on the win and thanks for a fun night filled with laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of community spirit.

Luckily for us, the tournament bracket had other plans, so we'll be back on the field tomorrow. We'll just call tonight our warm-up game and come back ready for Round 2. 🔥⚾️

Most importantly, these Benefit Games are all about supporting Hopatcong Little League and the young athletes who make our community special. Thank you to Hopatcong Little League for putting together such a fun event, and thank you to everyone who came out to support it.

We'll see everyone back at Veterans Field tomorrow!

Last night, the Hopatcong Fire Department held a department-wide water supply drill at the State Park, bringing together all three companies along with our cadets, new members, chiefs, and senior firefighters.

The focus of the drill was water movement and teamwork. Members practiced drafting water from the lake, establishing a relay between engines, and operating a tanker shuttle to move water to a reserve pond, where another engine supplied the attack line.

Drills like this are about more than moving water. They’re about learning how to work together, communicate, and build confidence as a department. Our newer members and cadets had the opportunity to work alongside experienced firefighters, ask questions, get hands-on experience, and continue learning the ropes from the people around them.

Every member plays a role, and every drill helps keep us prepared for when the real call comes in.
