πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ A Memorial Day Reminder πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

As parades, ceremonies, and moments of remembrance take place across our nation, let us remember what this day truly asks of us.

When the American Flag πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ passes by, please stand. Remove your hat. Place your right hand over your heart. Pause your conversations. Veterans may render a hand salute.

These small acts matter.

They teach our children that the flag is not just fabric β€” it carries the memory of those who served, sacrificed, and never returned home.

Memorial Day is not simply the start of summer. It is a solemn day of remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

May we never forget.

Memorial Day is here and we need to remember those that gave all for our freedom and those that have passed.

Memorial Day is here and we need to remember those that gave all for our freedom and those that have passed.

THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FOR 2026 HAS BEGUN. While much is said about the unofficial start of summer and shoppers specials, May 25th is set aside to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms.

So the next time you see a demonstrator -- or someone flying Old Glory upside-down -- disrespecting our flag, gently remind him/her that those 7 red stripes represent the blood of those that protected their right to disrespect the flag! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

And you don't wish someone a "Happy" Memorial Day. It is not something you celebrate. Nor does it have anything to do with Veteran's day which is a separate holiday. Many people don't understand the difference.
