Celebrate Drinking Water Week with us! HWL personnel work hard to make sure you have safe and reliable water. HWL has approximately 160 miles of main water lines as well as approximately 15 miles of service lines. We have about 1,700 valves and 700 fire hydrants throughout our system. HWL typically services around 4,300 water meters each month. In 2025 HWL produced 1,237,605,000 gallons of water from three water sources: Tokio Aquifer, Nacatoch Aquifer, and the Little River. In 2025, the most water we produced in a day was 6,105,000 gallons in the month of August. Our system has a total of 7 water tanks that hold a total max capacity of 4,750,000 gallons.
